I thought it rather ironic to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to see the gate to the Tarnów cemetery and the Tarnów cemetery to see a reproduction. The cemetery itself is large, maintained, and magnificent. I hope to return there in the near future to make up for a very short visit in 2005.

As is well known, the bimah is the only portion that remains from the synagogue in Tarnów.
