While I was photographing the synagogue, a neighbor came out and we talked a little in Polish. It seemed that she wanted me to do something about the synagogue. She was not precise about what should be done, but, according to my guide, she discusses the issue with everyone that he brings to see the building.

The cemetery in Staryi Sambir runs up a hillside from the highway and affords a nice view of the surrounding countryside.
