Sniatyn

We visited Sniatyn in a light rain with gloomy skies.  We found a cemetery spread over a large area next to the Christian cemetery.  The stones displayed several very nice designs; however, the dense vegetation and moisture contributed to a heavy coating of algae and moss on some of the stones.

The synagogue appeared to be in good repair.  It had recently been used as a sewing factory.
