I have paid brief visits to the cemetery in Przemyśl in prior years, but in 2012 we had enough time to spend a leisurely afternoon there. The cemetery covers a large area with a number of stones present, but the majority of them are either too weathered to read or are missing the face plates and thus carry no inscriptions. A small part of the cemetery near the entrance and around some relatively recent memorial works is well-kept, but most of the cemetery grounds, and the many of the tombstones, are overrun by ground cover.
