We made a significant effort to get to Okopy because I had read that a cemetery had just been found there; however, at the time of discovery the vegetation was too thick to allow a full exploration of the site. I hoped that if we visited in late August the vegetation would be less impenetrable and we could explore the location fully. Unfortunately the area remained a veritable jungle with very thick foliage that prevented both exploration and successful photography. We fought our way into the cemetery area to view perhaps ten to fifteen weathered stones, but we simply could not make useful photographs of them.
