When we visited the synagogue in Khust, we found the chairman of the Jewish community working on the renovation of the synagogue.  He very graciously stopped his work,  invited us in, and allowed us to photograph whatever we wanted.  He also pointed out the former mikvah, another former synagogue, and a former Jewish building across the street.  When we finished photographing in the vicinity of the synagogue, he led us to the older of two Jewish cemeteries in Khust.  It is secured by a high wall and a locked gate.  Apparently the cemetery is still in use by the Jewish community in Khust.
