The former synagogue in Hrymailiv was a large, open, unsecured building. There was no roof, and the floor was covered with dirt or was non-existent with the result that small trees to a height of 12-14 feet were growing within the walls. Neighbors had added agricultural structures to one side of the synagogue.

We questioned several people about the cemetery and visited a location said to have been where it was located. That area is now residential.
