The last stop in Slovakia at Hraničné was one of the more interesting stops. We crossed a rivulet and found a small cemetery nestled in a grove of trees.  Many years ago there had been a masonry fence and a gate to secure the grounds; however, those safeguards had long since deteriorated so that the cemetery was completely unprotected except for its concealment in the stand of trees.  The cemetery was interesting in that it seemed to contain a high percentage of graves bearing the same surname.
