The cemetery in Brody is extraordinarily impressive with seemingly endless ranks of very tall stones marching to the horizon. Many of the stones are in excess of six feet tall. Unfortunately they are almost uniformly made of inferior stone and badly weathered so that they do not photograph well.

In contrast to our 2009 visit, in 2012, we found the cemetery in Brody enclosed by a secure fence. We also saw evidence of work to reset and to stabilize some of the massive stones. The stones remain magnificent but also badly weathered and difficult to photograph effectively.
