In Bratslav, as expected, we found the cemetery in a very scenic location on a high ridge overlooking the Buh River. There were a number of stones scattered over a wide area; but again, as we frequently found in Vinnytska Oblast, many of the stones were of the “boot” design without arresting artwork.

The cemetery had the best security that we have encountered in our travels due to the alert and aggressive security person on duty who told us that there was security at the cemetery around the clock. The cemetery was fenced, although the rustic stretch of fence at the top of the hill would hardly deter entrance. The grounds were adequately maintained.
